He was born in Thane, Maharashtra. Her parents divorced at the age of 11 and moved to Chembur with her mother and sister Amrita.
His mother Joyce Polycarp was a Catholic in Malayalam and his father Anil Aurora was a resident of Fazilkar on the local Punjabi border, he was serving in the Merchant Navy.
